East Coast Military Schools Helping Turn Around At-Risk Boys
Gateway Military School is a lower cost military school serving teenage boys from the East Coast. It is also an accredited school and a working ranch and farm, as well as counseling and mentoring, competitive team sports, a spiritual emphasis, and hands-on outreach to help disadvantaged people in third-world countries. All of these are meant to bring about change in a boy’s heart and life. Under the structure and order of a military academy, wayward teen boys soon turn into respectful, confident leaders and responsible citizens.
Over 1000 boys from the East Coast have put their lives back on track at Gateway. We enroll young men from around the country.
Our Friendly Staff Teach Our East Coast Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenage boys ages 12 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is reachable from the East Coast. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to each and every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A number of our staff have been in your place, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
East Coast Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students begin with a focus on responsibility and attitude adjustment with the supervision of our caring team of Christian men. For the first few months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores provide them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and start to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities along the way. The trusted students are able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success
Most teens who were failing or falling behind not only get caught up but get far ahead. Gateway meets all established by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Our academy operates all year round as students study at their own pace through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Restoration is Our Hallmark
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a life of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider Gateway Military School.
Please give us a call. Even if you determine that Gateway isn’t the right place for your boy, we are connected with a number of other similar military schools across the country, from boys ranches to boot camps, and from wilderness programs to typical therapeutic boarding schools.

The states which have shoreline on the East Coast are, from north to south, the U.S. states of Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. The East Coast is a low-relief, passive margin coast. It has been shaped by the Pleistocene glaciation as far south as New York, with offshore islands Nantucket, Block Island, Fishers Island, Long Island and Staten Island the result of terminal moraines.[citation needed] Longshore drift currents have formed an intermittent series of barrier beaches that enclose sounds that stretch from Long Island Sound southward along the unglaciated coast. The coastal plain broadens southwards, separated from the Piedmont districts by the Atlantic Seaboard fall line of the East Coast rivers, often marking the head of navigation, prominent sites of cities. |
