Our Compassionate Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 12 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our facility is accessible from Whittier, North Carolina and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A few of our staff have been in your shoes, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students begin with a focus on responsibility and attitude adjustment with the supervision of our caring team of Christian men. For the first few months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to neatness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys learn to stop struggling against authority and start to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The highest level student is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through First-Rate Curriculum and Skilled Teachers.
Most boys who have been failing or falling behind not only get caught up academically, but they often pull ahead. We meet all requirements by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Our academy operates all year round as students study at their own pace through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction, and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. Our staff model their relationship with God, and we strive to keep a Godly atmosphere helpful to Christian growth. Students attend group sessions, and spend time with a counselor to discuss individually assigned sessions intended for character development.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. After four months, parents can begin benefiting from insightful special training about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most students in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway.
