Need Help with a Wayward Son? Though Not in Washington, Georgia, Would You Give Some Consideration to Gateway Christian Military School in Florida Instead?
Gateway Boys Academy is a lower cost military school in West Florida like no other. We have a military academy, an accredited school, and a working ranch and farm offering counseling and mentoring, competitive team sports, a spiritual emphasis, and hands-on outreach to help disadvantaged people in third-world countries. All of these are meant to bring about change in a boy’s heart and life. When given the structure and discipline of a military school, wayward teenage boys soon become respectful, confident leaders and responsible citizens.
Though not in Washington, Georgia, You Can Set the Stage for a New Start and a New Direction for Your Boy by Having Him Spend Time Here

Our Understanding, Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our school is reachable from Washington, Georgia and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we believe in demonstrating the love of God to each student, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your situation, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a child of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Gateway Boys Academy
Students begin at the lowest rung of our level system. For the first few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys begin to stop struggling against authority and begin to gain confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities in the process. The senior level military school cadet is permitted to participate in off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Passionate Teachers.
Most students who were failing or falling behind not only catch up but pull ahead. Gateway meets all established by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. Classes run year-round as students work at their own speed through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to maintain a Godly atmosphere encouraging to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel two times a week, and spend time with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies intended for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we promote family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend seminars for training about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider Gateway.
Although it is not located in Washington, Georgia, Gateway can be the kind of environment your teen needs to make a positive change. We invite you to call or submit our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
