Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our campus is accessible from Valdese, North Carolina and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every single cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your place, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students begin at the bottom rung of our level system. For the initial months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and start to get confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive instead of their previously destructive activities. Over time, they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities in the process. The top level military school cadet is permitted to participate in off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through First-Rate Curriculum and Skilled Teachers.
Most students who have been failing or falling behind not only get up to date but get far ahead. Gateway meets all established by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. Classes run all year long as students study at their own speed through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice weekly, and spend time with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies meant for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend conferences for training about boundaries and positive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although it is not located in Valdese, North Carolina, Gateway can be just the environment your boy needs to produce a positive change. Please call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
