Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenage boys ages 11 to 17 who have gone off-track with life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our campus is reachable from Stedman, North Carolina and cities across the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we believe in demonstrating the love of God to each and every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A number of our staff have been in your shoes, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Boys start in our basic training platoon under the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores provide them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys realize they can stop struggling against authority and begin to gain confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as an alternative to their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities along the way. The senior level military school cadet is permitted to participate in off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most boys who had been failing or falling behind not just catch up but get ahead. We meet all established by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. School takes place all year round as students work at their own pace through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere conducive to Christian growth. Students attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice a week, and meet with a counselor to complete individually assigned Bible studies designed for character development.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend seminars for training about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Stedman, North Carolina, Gateway can be the kind of environment your teen needs to make a positive change. We invite you to call or complete our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
