Our Understanding, Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves boys ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our campus is located in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is reachable from Palmetto, Georgia and cities throughout the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every single cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A few of our staff have been in your shoes, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a son of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Our Military School
Students begin in our basic training platoon with the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and begin to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The senior behavioral level student is eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through First-Rate Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most boys who have been failing or falling behind not only get up to date but get ahead. We meet all established by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Our school operates all year long as students study at their own speed through first-rate curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere helpful to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice a week, and work with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies designed to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend seminars for teaching on boundaries and effective parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a desire for serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Palmetto, Georgia, Gateway can be the type of environment your boy needs to generate a positive change. We invite you to call or fill in our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
