Our Understanding, Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 11 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our school is reachable from Oglethorpe, Georgia and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we believe in demonstrating the love of God to each student, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your shoes, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a child of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Teens start in our basic training platoon with the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores provide them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys begin to stop struggling against authority and start to grow in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as an alternative to their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, obtaining privileges and responsibilities along the way. The senior level military school cadet is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most boys who were failing or falling behind not just get caught up but get far ahead. We meet all qualifications by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Classes run all year round as students study at their own speed through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere helpful to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice weekly, and work with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies meant to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we promote family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend conferences for training about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenager needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Oglethorpe, Georgia, Gateway could be the sort of environment your teen needs to make a positive change. We invite you to call or submit our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
