Our Compassionate Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our campus is accessible from Millers Creek, North Carolina and cities throughout the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to each and every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A few of our staff have been in your situation, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a child of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Boys start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the first months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores provide them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys learn to stop struggling against authority and start to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive rather than their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, obtaining privileges and responsibilities in the process. The upper level military school cadet is permitted to participate in off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Most students who were failing or falling behind not just get up to date but get ahead. We meet all qualifications by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Our school operates all year long as students work at their own pace through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual things are important at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere helpful to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services two times a week, and meet with a counselor to complete individually assigned Bible studies designed to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend events to learn about boundaries and positive parenting.
Most students in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a life of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider Gateway.
Although it is not located in Millers Creek, North Carolina, Gateway may be just the environment your son needs to make a change for the better. Please call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
