Our Understanding, Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 11 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Our boarding school is located in the panhandle of Florida, and our facility is reachable from Lexington, Virginia and cities across the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every single cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your place, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a son of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Gateway Boys Academy
Boys begin in our basic training platoon with the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and start to get confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive instead of their previously destructive activities. Over time, they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities in the process. The top level military school cadet is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through First-Rate Curriculum and Passionate Teachers.
Most boys who were failing or falling behind not only get up to date but get ahead. We meet all established by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Our academy operates all year round as students study at their own speed through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Students attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice weekly, and meet with a counselor to discuss individually assigned Bible studies meant for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. After four months, parents begin attending weekend conferences to learn about boundaries and positive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to put his life in order, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although not located in Lexington, Virginia, Gateway can be the kind of environment your boy needs to produce a positive change. Please call or complete our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
