Need Help with an At-Risk Boy? Though Not in Lewisville, North Carolina, Would You Give Some Consideration to Gateway Christian Military School in Florida Instead?
Gateway Boys Academy is a lower cost military school in West Florida unlike any other. We have a military academy, an accredited school, as well as a working ranch and farm offering counseling and mentoring, competitive team sports, a spiritual emphasis, and hands-on outreach to help disadvantaged people in third-world countries. All of these are designed to bring about change in a boy’s heart and life. Within the structure and order of a military school, wayward teenage boys soon turn into respectful, confident leaders and responsible citizens.

Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 11 to 17 who have gone off-track with life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is reachable from Lewisville, North Carolina and cities throughout the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we believe in demonstrating the love of God to each student, surrounding him with compassionate care. Many of our staff have been in your place, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Our Military School
Boys begin in our basic training platoon under the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys learn to stop struggling against authority and begin to gain confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive rather than their previously destructive activities. Over time, they promote to higher levels, acquiring privileges and responsibilities along the way. The senior level military school cadet is allowed to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most teens who have been failing or falling behind not only get caught up but get ahead. Gateway meets all qualifications by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Classes run all year round as students study at their own pace through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to maintain a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Students attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice weekly, and work with a counselor to complete individually assigned Bible studies designed for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend seminars for teaching on boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most students in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a desire for serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Lewisville, North Carolina, Gateway can be the kind of environment your son needs to create a positive change. Please call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
