Our Compassionate Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is accessible from Lawrenceville, Virginia and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we believe in demonstrating the love of God to each student, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your situation, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a child of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Boys start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys realize they can stop struggling against authority and start to gain confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as an alternative to their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, acquiring privileges and responsibilities in the process. The upper level military school cadet is eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most boys who were failing or falling behind not only catch up but get ahead. We meet all established by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Classes run all year long as students study at their own pace through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual things are important at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere conducive to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice each week, and meet with a counselor for individually assigned Bible studies designed for character development.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend events for teaching on boundaries and effective parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Lawrenceville, Virginia, Gateway may be the kind of environment your boy needs to make a change for the better. Please call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
