Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 11 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is accessible from Kenova, West Virginia and cities across the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every single cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A few of our staff have been in your shoes, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a son of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Our Military School
Boys begin in our basic training platoon with the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial few months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to neatness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and begin to gain confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive instead of their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The upper level military school cadet is eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Passionate Teachers.
Most teens who have been failing or falling behind not just catch up but get ahead. We meet all qualifications by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. Classes run year-round as students work at their own speed through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to create a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice each week, and meet with a counselor to discuss individually assigned Bible studies designed for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we promote family restoration. After four months, parents begin attending weekend events for training about boundaries and effective parenting.
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenager needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although it is not located in Kenova, West Virginia, Gateway could be the type of environment your teen needs to produce a change for the better. Please call or complete our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
