Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have gone off-track with life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our facility is reachable from Interlachen, Florida and cities throughout the nation. Students start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the first months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.

At Gateway, boys realize they can stop struggling against authority and begin to get confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as an alternative to their previously destructive activities. Over time, they promote to higher levels, acquiring privileges and responsibilities in the process. The highest level student is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.

Gateway meets all standards [set by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Our school operates year-round as students study at their own pace through first-rate curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
