We meet all standards [set by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere encouraging to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice each week, and meet with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies designed to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend seminars for training about boundaries and constructive parenting.

Hinton is a city in Summers County, West Virginia, United States. The population was 2,880 at the 2000 census. It is the county seat of Summers CountyGR. Hinton was established in 1873 and chartered in 1897. Hinton was named for John “Jack” Hinton, a prominent lawyer of Summers County and husband of Avis Gwinn Hinton, who owned the land upon which the city of Hinton is located.Citation needed Hinton’s complete downtown was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1984. There are several museums in Hinton, including the Veterans Memorial Museum, the Hinton Railroad Museum, and King’s Civil War Museum. The City of Hinton is currently restoring the CSX passenger depot and the Freight Depot to be used as possible tourist draws in the future.
