Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 11 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Boys begin in our basic training platoon with the supervision of drill instructors. For the first months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.

At Gateway, boys realize they can stop struggling against authority and begin to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive instead of their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, acquiring privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The highest level student is eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.

Most teens who were failing or falling behind not only get up to date but pull ahead. We meet all established by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. School takes place year-round as students work at their own speed through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.

Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction, and Purpose In Life

We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to maintain a Godly atmosphere helpful to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice a week, and meet with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies intended for character growth.

Family Restoration is Our Hallmark

At Gateway, we focus on family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend seminars to learn about boundaries and effective parenting.
