Our Compassionate Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves boys ages 11 to 17 who have gone off-track with life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is reachable from Fort Bragg, North Carolina and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Many of our staff have been in your shoes, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Gateway Boys Academy
Boys start in our basic training platoon under the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys begin to stop struggling against authority and begin to grow in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive instead of their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities in the process. The upper level military school cadet is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most students who had been failing or falling behind not just get caught up but pull ahead. Gateway meets all requirements by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Our academy operates year round as students study at their own pace through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere encouraging to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice a week, and meet with a counselor to discuss individually assigned Bible studies meant for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. After four months, parents begin attending weekend seminars to learn about boundaries and positive parenting.
Most students in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Gateway could be the type of environment your boy needs to generate a change for the better. Please call or submit our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
