Gateway Boys Academy is a lower cost military school in West Florida unlike any other. Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenagers ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our campus is located in the panhandle of Florida, and our school is accessible from Enfield, North Carolina and cities throughout the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A number of our staff have been in your place, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a child of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students begin in our basic training platoon under the supervision of drill instructors. For the first few months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores provide them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and begin to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities in the process. The senior level military school cadet is allowed to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through High-Quality Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most students who have been failing or falling behind not only catch up but get ahead. We meet all qualifications by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. School takes place year-round as students work at their own pace through first-rate curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere conducive to Christian growth. Students attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice each week, and spend time with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies intended to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend seminars for teaching on boundaries and effective parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway.
Although it is not located in Enfield, North Carolina, Gateway may be the sort of environment your teen needs to generate a positive change. Please call or complete our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
