Our Compassionate Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenage boys ages 11 to 17 who have gone off-track with life. Our military school is situated in the panhandle of Florida, and our facility is reachable from Crozet, Virginia and cities throughout the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Many of our staff have been in your place, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Our Military School
Boys start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the initial few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys realize they can stop struggling against authority and start to get confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive rather than their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, obtaining privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The trusted students are eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Most students who have been failing or falling behind not just get caught up but get far ahead. Gateway meets all established by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Our academy operates all year long as students work at their own pace through first-rate curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual things are important at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere conducive to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice a week, and spend time with a counselor for individually assigned Bible studies meant for character development.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend events for training about boundaries and positive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Crozet, Virginia, Gateway may be just the environment your son needs to produce a positive change. We invite you to call or complete our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
