Our Compassionate Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Our campus is located in the panhandle of Florida, and our school is reachable from Clendenin, West Virginia and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A few of our staff have been in your place, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a son of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the first few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to neatness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and begin to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive rather than their previously destructive activities. In time, they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities in the process. The highest level student is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Passionate Teachers.
Most boys who have been failing or falling behind not only get caught up but get far ahead. We meet all requirements by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Our academy operates year-round as students study at their own pace through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual life forms a large part of life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere encouraging to Christian growth. Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice weekly, and work with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies designed to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway, we focus on family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend seminars to learn about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most students in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway.
Although not located in Clendenin, West Virginia, Gateway could be the sort of environment your teen needs to produce a change for the better. Please call or fill in our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
