Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenage boys ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our boarding school is located in the panhandle of Florida, and our facility is reachable from Black Mountain, North Carolina and cities across the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every single cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your place, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Our Military School
Teens begin at the lowest rung of our level system. For the initial months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to neatness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys begin to stop struggling against authority and begin to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The highest level military school cadet is permitted to participate in off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Skilled Teachers.
Most boys who were failing or falling behind not just get up to date but pull ahead. We meet all requirements by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Classes run year-round as students work at their own pace through first-rate curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to create a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice each week, and meet with a counselor for individually assigned Bible studies meant to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend conferences for teaching on boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your teenager needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although it is not located in Black Mountain, North Carolina, Gateway could be the kind of environment your teen needs to produce a change for the better. Please call or fill in our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
