Spiritual things are important at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere encouraging to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice weekly, and meet with a counselor to discuss individually assigned Bible studies meant to build character.

At Gateway, we focus on family restoration. After four months, parents begin attending weekend conferences for teaching on boundaries and positive parenting.
