Gateway Paves the Way for Transformation
Teens begin at the lowest rung of our level system. For the initial few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives. They learn to stop struggling against authority and begin to grow in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as an alternative to their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, gaining privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The upper level military school cadet is permitted to participate in off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Understanding the Importance of Academic Success
Our academy operates year round as students work at their own pace through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Most teens who have been failing or falling behind not only get up to date but pull ahead. We meet all standards [set by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
A New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose

Young men attend group Bible studies, go to chapel services twice weekly, and meet with a counselor to discuss individually assigned Bible studies designed to build character.
A Concentration on Family Relationships
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend seminars for training about boundaries, healthy marriages, and effective parenting.
