Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves boys ages 11 to 17 who have gone off-track with life. Our boarding school is located in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is accessible from Pickens, South Carolina and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we believe in demonstrating the love of God to each and every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A number of our staff have been in your situation, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through Gateway Boys Academy
Students start in our basic training platoon with the supervision of drill instructors. For the first few months, physical exercise, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores give them structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys learn to stop struggling against authority and begin to grow in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive instead of their previously destructive activities. Over time, they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The top level military school cadet is allowed to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through Top-Notch Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most boys who have been failing or falling behind not only catch up but pull ahead. We meet all requirements by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. School takes place year round as students work at their own pace through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow transfers to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus and strive to keep a Godly atmosphere helpful to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice each week, and spend time with a counselor to complete individually assigned Bible studies designed to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we concentrate on family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend seminars for teaching on boundaries and positive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a life of serving others. If your teenager needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although not located in Pickens, South Carolina, Gateway may be the type of environment your teen needs to generate a change for the better. We invite you to call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
