Our Understanding, Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves teenage boys ages 11 to 17 who have made rebellious choices in life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our facility is reachable from Culloden, West Virginia and cities across the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. A number of our staff have been in your place, either having attended a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the first few months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to orderliness and chores provide them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys figure out how to stop struggling against authority and begin to grow in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive rather than their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The upper level military school cadet is able to do off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through High-Quality Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most teens who had been failing or falling behind not just get up to date but get ahead. We meet all qualifications by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they graduate our academic program. School takes place all year long as students study at their own speed through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Christ and strive to create a Godly atmosphere encouraging to Christian growth. Boys attend group Bible studies, go to chapel two times a week, and meet with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies designed for character growth.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we give attention to family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend events for training about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most students in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to an attitude of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although it is not located in Culloden, West Virginia, Gateway can be the kind of environment your son needs to generate a positive change. Please call or complete our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
