Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves young men ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our school is reachable from Colonial Beach, Virginia and cities across the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we focus on demonstrating the love of God to each and every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Many of our staff have been in your shoes, either having been through a similar program themselves or having enrolled a child of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Boys start in our basic training platoon beneath the supervision of drill instructors. For the first months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to cleanliness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys begin to stop struggling against authority and begin to increase in confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as an alternative to their previously destructive activities. Over time, they promote to higher levels, obtaining privileges and responsibilities along the way. The highest level military school cadet is eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through First-Rate Curriculum and Certified Teachers.
Most boys who had been failing or falling behind not just get caught up but get ahead. We meet all established by Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas when they complete our academic program. School takes place year-round as students study at their own speed through top-notch curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow credits to transfer to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Spiritual Relationship, Direction and Purpose In Life
We emphasize spiritual life at Gateway Boys Academy. We strive to introduce every cadet to a relationship with Jesus and strive to establish a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Students attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice a week, and work with a counselor to pursue individually assigned Bible studies intended to build character.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we promote family restoration. Four months after the cadet enrolls, parents begin attending weekend conferences to learn about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most students in our program turn from their self-destructive behavior to a life of serving others. If your teenage boy needs order and discipline to change his direction, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although not located in Colonial Beach, Virginia, Gateway can be the sort of environment your teen needs to produce a change for the better. We invite you to call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
