Our Friendly Staff Teach Our Boarding School Students a Better Way to Live
Gateway Boys Academy serves boys ages 11 to 17 who have chosen a dangerous path in life. Our military school is in the panhandle of Florida, and our academy is accessible from Bridgeport, West Virginia and cities around the nation. While the program is very disciplined and structured, we commit to demonstrating the love of God to every cadet, surrounding him with compassionate care. Several of our staff have been in your place, either having completed a similar program themselves or having enrolled a teen of their own in our military school in the past.
Boys are Transformed through our Christian Military School
Students begin in our basic training platoon under the supervision of drill instructors. For the first few months, physical training, a packed schedule, attention to neatness and chores surround them with structure and establish order in their lives.
At Gateway, boys begin to stop struggling against authority and begin to get confidence by mastering challenges that are constructive as opposed to their previously destructive activities. Eventually they promote to higher levels, earning privileges and responsibilities as they move up. The upper level military school cadet is eligible for off-campus sports, outreaches, and travel.
Academic Success through High-Quality Curriculum and Skilled Teachers.
Most students who were failing or falling behind not only get up to date but get far ahead. We meet all requirements by the State of Florida for high school graduation, and students earn diplomas at the completion of our academic program. Classes run year round as students study at their own speed through high-quality curriculum and certified teachers. Our high standards allow students to transfer back to public institutions or to go on to college or the military.
Boys Discover a New Relationship with God, Direction and Purpose In Life
Spiritual things are important at Gateway Boys Academy. We offer to every cadet a relationship with Jesus Christ and strive to maintain a Godly atmosphere favorable to Christian growth. Students attend group Bible studies, go to chapel twice a week, and spend time with a counselor for individually assigned Bible studies meant for character development.
Family Restoration is Our Hallmark
At Gateway Boys Academy, we promote family restoration. After four months of enrollment for the cadet, parents begin attending weekend conferences for training about boundaries and constructive parenting.
Most boys in our program turn away from their self-destructive behavior to a lifetime of serving others. If your son needs order and discipline to turn his life around, please consider Gateway, a Christian Boarding School.
Although not located in Bridgeport, West Virginia, Gateway can be the kind of environment your teen needs to create a positive change. Please call or fill out our inquiry form for our boarding school today.
